Far Hills is a haven for foodies with the delicious dining options in and around town. Here are some recommended restaurants along with feedback from the locals!
“The best turkey club sandwich I've ever had. I've been to this small, at no-frills café restaurant inside of what used to be the Far Hills train station ticket office. The restaurant has a surprisingly extensive menu, but I keep ordering the same thing which is a delicious turkey club on toasted white bread, served with a pickle spear and potato chips. There is never more than one server for the whole room, so the service is not terribly fast... so don't be in a hurry. I believe they also offer takeout service. It's a great place to meet friends and relax and have a nice meal. It's definitely a well-kept secret by the locals because often I see people in equestrian riding gear in there. Since this is a working train station, make sure you park in the spots along side the restaurant that are clearly marked. Enjoy!” - Willow
"I frequent this place for lunch and have never been disappointed. The menu is more extensive than you would expect given the size of the restaurant, but my favorites are the daily specials which are always changing and delicious. Great service and very reasonable prices too" - Dan P.
"Old world style butcher shop, modern customer service serving high quality basic prepared foods at low low prices. Extra large deli sandwiches with fresh ingredients." - Bert
"M&M Perrotti’s Butcher Shop & Prepared Foods is nice place to get a quality sandwich from their deli section. This small shop has a butcher section offering fresh meats in addition to a section with a good selection of prepared foods. The deli section is strictly takeout. There’s a parking lot in the back off 202. I ordered the Sweet Italian Sub today for lunch and it was very tasty. They also have another shop located in Basking Ridge." - Mitch
“Friends recommended we try the pizza at Pizza Bros when we were passing through the area and we're glad we decided to take the short detour off of Rte 287 to give it a try! If you want pizza with just the right thickness of crust, just the right amount of sauce and the "good" cheese - this is the place to go. I know everyone in NJ has their opinions on pizza and wars have started on Facebook over Pizza preferences but, at least for my family - this pizza hits every mark!!!"
“Best pizza in central NJ. Small with large takeout business. Pizza all hand done with generous toppings. Pleasant staff. Beautiful part of NJ, good place to stop for lunch or snack! Highly recommended.
